Dave Chamberlain "The Rev"
Jazz Trombone  cell 619-742-8787

Dave grew up in Spokane, Washington.  He started piano and trombone lessons as a young child, playing keyboard and bass in rock bands during adolescence.  During his middle and high school years, he studied trombone under Dr. John Nicholson, then Head of Gonzaga University's Music Department.  Dave was converted to Christianity at 17 and is now Senior Pastor of Canyon Community Church in Chula Vista, CA. "The Rev" graduated from college in San Francisco and he and his wife, Eva have lived in the San Diego area since 1975.  He has played trombone with five-time Grammy award vibe great Gary Burton, Grammy guitarist Wayne Johnson, 21 Gold Records recipient Frankie Laine, and Gary Puckett of The Union Gap fame.  Dave played trombone, ukelele and sang in nearly 100 standing ovation shows in Lamb's Players "American Rhythm" at the Lyceum Theater.

Mark Nicholson  Jazz Trumpet
Mark is one of those guys who can do it all.  He was a lounge pianist in New York for several years. Mark can play upright as well as electric bass and his trumpet playing is great.  Jazz solos are supposed to make the entire tune sound better and Mark does exactly that.  We have been through quite a few music projects together and he has the care and ability to make it all work.  Mark plays trumpet in the Ira B. Liss Big Band Jazz Machine and subs all over town. There are just a few San Diego trumpet players who can do it all and Mark is one of them.  Contact:  619-306-5212.
