Chasons Music loves Kelly Lexan Mouthpieces and accessories. If you've never played on a Kelly piece, you are in for a big surprise. They play! I use mine in my OcToBrass™ when I'm traveling. I use it on my horn at Christmas Tree lighting events in the mountains or an outdoor gig in the desert. With temperature extremes the Kelly pieces really come into their own. I always have Kelly mouthpiece with me. One night at a big band performance one of the trombone players brought a mouthpiece, but the wrong shank size. I loaned him my Crystal Green 6 1/2AL and he couldn't believe how well it played.

For comparison, the diameter is near a 13a4a with the KELLY-SCREAMERTM being a bit shallower. The throat is slightly tighter than a Shew-lead, and the parabolic backbore just under that of a 3E.
