Eyes Wide Open has what you are looking for in a wedding band. Our band can fit your wedding budget starting with the big sound of our duo, going all the way up to our stunning 16-piece Big Band. Our selection of songs and different styles will keep guests of all ages interested, listening and dancing. Our special keyboards and horns are an interesting conversation piece around the tables.

We will come donned in our elegant black tie tuxedos, the traditional big band look. We can also come looking jazzier in our banded black shirts and slacks. If you want a more casual or beach look we'll wear Hawaiian shirts. We will help set the mood you want to create on your special day.

EWO plays music that will appeal to your guests of all ages. They can dance to a waltz, foxtrot and tango as well as west coast and east coast swing, jump and jitterbug. Each set we perform will move through exciting musical tension. We will sing and play a smooth and flowing ballroom dance followed by a Latin bossa nova or Salsa chart and then a wild rock & roll or disco chart. We supply the sound system and a wireless mike for the announcements and toasts. Maybe one of your guests will want to sing a song. We also supply MP3 dance music during our short breaks so the excitement never stops.

We show up with our horns and special computer keyboards. Our equipment is very specialized and perfectly creates the sounds of drums, bass and background instruments allowing us to sing, play piano and solo on our horns. In a way we are part DJ and part Live Band. Even as a duet we sound like a ten-piece band. We can supply a third musician-playing saxophone. Let us add a real bass player and our great drummer, Hank Gentile, allowing no need for electronic sound reproduction. We also play as a ten-piece band. For your COCKTAIL RECEPTION we supply a top lounge pianist playing light and entertaining jazz that welcomes and honors your guests. Your guests feel relaxed and the combo provides an icebreaking conversation topic. Our small combo plays upbeat and lively jazz standards. It sets the mood of joy and anticipation.


We provide the wireless microphone, sound system and trumpet fanfare for the WEDDING PARTY INTRODUCTIONS. Having a musical fanfare for the introduction will help honor your wedding party and show them how special they are to you.


During your SIT DOWN DINNER, Eyes Wide Open will play soft ballads inner laced with soft solos. We will provide a quieter, more romantic sound allowing the table conversations to not feel like they are competing with the music. We know that a sense of community and discourse is very important during the dinner.

The RECEPTION DANCE  almost always starts out with the bride and groom taking to the dance floor first with family and friends watching and admiring.  Your love ballad can be off your CD or EWO will perform it for you.  During the Reception Dance the volume and excitement increases.   If you wish, we  will also plan for a dance with the new in-laws and a Money  Dance  (heard of one couple making over $3000).  Eyes Wide Open has the ability to get people of all ages on the dance floor.  One of the advantages of a live band is that we can make a particular song last as long as needed.  A DJ is limited to the length of the recording.  We read the audience and shape the music to what is going on with the mood of the gathering.  We will shuffle a great list of songs and styles to keep everyone happy and wanting more.
